We get most of our technical issues ironed out, get Xav in on the mix and bring forth the most exhilarating, entertaining and epic BitCast yet. Think you can handle it?

Also, since we didn't mention her in the podcast this week I have to thank Andarko for providing us with our intro/outro music this week...and thanks again to Joystiq for the inspiration of said music.

This week we talk about:

  • Intros / Who's The New Guy?
  • Whatcha' Been Playin?
  • 3 in 5: Boobie Physics Round Up
  • Summer Releases, What are we looking forward to?
  • WoW Gold Farmers: SUED!!

BitCast: Episode 10 - God Speed Moon Cat Edition Now Available!

Though the normal crew is back we're still a man down as we tried to add Xav to the mix. Vista was his downfall, maybe next week.

Real quick I just wanted to point out that the levels seem a little off this week, and have been a bit uneven for the past couple. Please remember that we're still new at doing this and we're taking steps to ensure that you all receive the highest quality production that we can obtain.

Oh, and I still have that sniffling thing going on in this one.

This week we talk about:

BitCast: Episode 01

Welcome to the brand-new BBPS BitCast Podcast! This is something we've been talking about doing for a while now and after a somewhat successful test run a couple weeks back we went ahead and did it again, but this time we're actually letting other people here it!

In this episode you'll hear myself, our fearless leader (and today's 30th BIRTHDAY BOY!!!) Dan and our friend from the great white north Jimmy have a jaw session about last week's happenings in our video game world. You'll hear us discuss the new Xbox 360 Elite Edition, Reign Over Me, The Logic Of High Scores, The Capcom Boycott and the Shadowrun Beta.

BitCast Supplemental: KBBPS Radio Returns!
Written by Jim Squires
Monday, 18 August 2008 05:00

Back by unpopular demand, Jim breaks out the sexy sound of his voice and the slightly less sexier sound of his record collection and spins the hits of your favorite game soundtracks. This week we mellow things up a tad -- but that doesn't mean there isn't a *little* tubthumping going on.

BitCast Supplemental: KBBPS Radio is on the air!
Written by Jim Squires
Monday, 30 June 2008 08:18

This week we decided to change things up a little. Rather than hearing the smooth and sexy sounds of our voices we thought it might be fun to let you listen to the smooth and sexy sounds of gitboxes and piano-key neckties. KBBPS Radio is our first stab at putting together a music show for the gaming masses. Give it a listen and let us know what you think! If you like it, I'm sure we can bang out another episode soon.

BitCast Special Edition: Halo 3 Video Review

BitCast Special Edition: Halo 3 Video Review

When a game as big as Halo 3 comes out it changes everything, including our coverage. Instead of writing our thoughts on the Xbox 360 flagship title, we decided to spend extra time on it in the form of our first video review.

While other sites might simply play clips from the single and multiplayer portions of the game, we here at the BitCast know you'd enjoy an alternative -- absolute carnage.

While we recorded our thoughts on Halo 3's release, we decided to face-off against each other in a free-for-all bloodbath! Have fun and watch as Jim, Santos and myself review the game and attempt to survive.

Jump in for the video review, or download the audio version to listen to our rants on the road.

Warning: Both the video and audio segments within this post contain spoilers on the storyline and ending(s) of Halo 3!

BitCast Jeopardy!
Written by Kevin Alexander
Tuesday, 30 September 2008 18:15

Listen and play along as Jimmy "Alex Quebec" Squires quizzes us about all things games. The categories and questions (or should I say answers?) are top notch all through out. We can't tell you who wins or who we even play for so you're gonna have to listen to find out.

We learn a lot about the crew on this one. Ryan's complete and utter lack of how Jeopardy! works, Dan's deep knowledge of the movie War Games, Kevin's ability to pull answers right out of his ass and Jimmy's unhealthy obsession with certain celebrities. Hopefully it's as much fun to listen to as it was to record. Enjoy!

Thanks one more time to Jim for putting this together!

BitCast Jeopardy Coming Tonight!
Written by Kevin Alexander
Tuesday, 30 September 2008 06:07
I sincerely intended to have this very special BitCast edited and posted this morning but sometimes things just don't work out the way you planned...like when you forget to bring the laptop that has all your editing software to work with you. When I get home tonight I'll be setting some time aside as soon as I can to get it all together for everyone.

I can say this, it's probably the most fun I've ever had doing the show. Jimmy did a great job putting the questions together and I think it's going to be a fun listen for everyone. Be sure to stop back tonight and check out the show!
