We know the winner of Super Bowl XLI |
|
by the hammer of BBPS! |
|
The fact that a few of the writers here work for NFL Films put us in a unique position to present this video. It turns out, much like the moon landing, the Super Bowl is fake. It’s decided well before hand, scripted out, and then shot. Think of it like wrestling, except they don’t grab each other in the crotch, they pat one another on the ass.
That’s right everyone, the Super Bowl is decided over a game of Super Tecmo Bowl. We just had to let the truth be told. So we smuggled this video out of the building, and have set it loose on the internet for the world to see. This is how it all goes down people. It may seem a little far-fetched, but truth is truth.
*We’re kidding. Maybe.

[...] BBPS has produced an amusing mockery of this coming Sunday’s big game — you know, Super Bowl XLI. No doubt the obligatory ‘Madden prediction‘ is on its way, but for now, let Tecmo Super Bowl tell the tale: 28-24, Bears over Colts. Jim Harbaugh FTW! [...]

Oddly enough, Jim Harbaugh played for both the Bears and Colts. He almost lead to the Colts to Super Bowl XXX, and became known as Captain Comeback over the next few years. Super Bowl XXX was won by the Cowboys, who defeated the Steelers 24-13. I remember Neil O’Donnell’s infamous INTs thrown right at the Super Bowl MVP, Larry Brown.

[...] There is still over a week left of hype before the big game, but it’s never too early to project the outcome. Fans and computers are joining the experts in predicting that Peyton Manning will get his first Super Bowl victory. Two weeks ago, the experts defied the numbers and fan sentiment (”Duh Experts”), but it looks like the collective wisdom is against the Chicago Bears. Then again, there’s the Techno Bowl projections of a Bears victory, but that relies on a couple Ron Morris touchdowns we’ll never get. [...]

This is pretty fucking stupid…
Also very gay, and very wrong, considering the Colts won. Plus, the Houston Oilers didn’t even exist at that time! :O
You’re an idiot.
Plus the “evil” laugh at the end SUCKED.
Dan Zuccarelli on 29 Jul 2008 at 4:54 pm #
Well…. you can’t argue with hateful, homophobic sound-proof logic like that!
BTW, the Houston did indeed exist at the time the game was made, though I’m guess arguing semantics with you probably won’t get us anywhere.
Xerxes3rd on 29 Jul 2008 at 5:09 pm #
@Luke: This whole “Internet” business is new to you, isn’t it.
