Well folks, it's that time of year again. We're getting a little thin on staff, and the holiday season is about to get a little thick on games. We need to bridge the gap -- that's where you come in.
Have you ever wanted to write about the games industry? Can you write objective, well-written news, features and reviews? Do you like the idea of doing lots of hard work for zero pay? If you've just rattled off yes three times, keep reading.
We're going to try and make the first step in applying as painless as possible. Just send an email to

with the following information;
- Name
- Location
- Previous writing experience (if none, that's ok. If some, that's better. With links? That's DELICIOUS)
- Three writing samples -- a news piece, an original feature, and a review -- all in a manner befitting theBBPS.
Ok, so maybe it's not that painless - but it'll help us weed out the riff raff. Due to the volume of replies an open call like this usually brings in, we won't be able to respond to everyone individually. Just know that if we're interested, we'll be in touch.
Thanks everyone! We're looking forward to checking out everything you have to offer!
